Let the Good Times Roll Paso Fino Show
Our Sunday judge is the honorable Enthomar Francisco and it’s a Super Prize Sunday! All exhibitors are eligible to win prizes during each class. Prizes include items such as tack, grooming items, cases of beer, wine, Yeti cups, famous Louisiana brand hot sauces, food and MORE!
Let the Good Times Roll Paso Fino Show
Southwestern PFHA and Deep South PFHA regions will let the good times roll in an air-conditioned indoor arena at the Ike Hamilton Center in West Monroe, LA on July 22 & 23. Angela Ochoa & Maria Villamizar will judge separately on Saturday. Enthomar Francisco judges on Sunday. There’s a free Cajun dinner for all members & competitors on Saturday after the last class with a free Champage Largo Race and Free Dollar Bareback Ride. And exhibitors won’t want to miss Super Prize Sunday.
Youth Clinic
SWPFHA & Deep South invite you to a free youth clinic on Friday, July 21 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Let the Good Times Roll show in West Monroe, Louisiana. Learn show ring and horsemanship etiquette with PFHA & USEF Sanctioned Judge Beth Uelsmann Figueroa. Pizza, fun & beverages provided.
Texas Spring Classic Paso Fino Horse Show
The Texas Spring Classic Paso Fino Horse Show at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe, Texas will be judged by Sofia Passariello on Saturday, April 22 and Sergio Garcia on Sunday, April 23.
Sip & Swap/Ask the Steward
Sip & Swap at the Texas Spring Classic Paso Fino Horse Show. Bring your own beverages & appetizers to share while looking at tack, apparel etc followed by Ask the Steward - a question & answer session with Paulette Denault-Bryce.
SWPFHA Amateur Owner Show Clinic
Ruben Ibarra presents “A Trainer’s Perspective” and Ellen Perez presents “A Judge’s Perspective”. The clinic will be at Triple S Paso Fino 7825 Goeke Rd Brenham, TX 77833. Free to Southwestern members. RSVP required.
Endurance Ride
Save the dates of September 17 and 18, 2022 for multiple distance endurance rides at the Richard-Ravens Equestrian Trail or just come to explore what endurance riding is all about. Volunteer to help or saddle up & ride. Start times to be determined but the dates are secure. Contact Erin Hurley for details.

Trail Horse Test Event
Our chair of the Rec Rider committee, Erin Hurley-Rosser and her committee, have arranged for a Trail Horse Test event at IXL Ranch with the Honorable Robin Ratliff giving the clinic on Saturday and testing on Sunday. This is MORE than just the Trail Horse Test! It’s a weekend-long event that includes a meet and greet on Friday evening with our clinician and judge, Robin Ratliff! Then the clinic on Saturday to help prepare you and your horse for the test with Robin and Sunday is the actual test!
Clinic and Fun Show
